                                 Born to die:

Now is my soul is troubled, and what shall I say Father save me from this hour, No, for this purpose, I have come to this hour. John 12:27.

"Born to die” betrays the ultimate destiny of every one alive, Infact these three words are brief, accurate biography of every living thing. The Psalmist declares…our years come to an end like a sigh…the years of our life…are soon gone, and we fly away(Ps:90,9-10) life is a prelude to death, whether that prelude is long or shot, tranquil or violent.

“Born to die” betrays the ultimate destiny of every one alive, Infact these three words are brief, accurate biography of every living thing.

Life’s tune played out and its strains are heard no more. The flower fades the grass whither, wood decays, metal rusts, and stone crumbles and time passes. Man takes his place among passing things and quite accurately be compared to the fading flowers.

Thirty years passed between the time Jesus breathed his first and the time he breathed his last. He had been born to die.

The last hour had finally come for which the first was made. We have been considering how Jesus was “Born to die”, we have pursued this goal with out asking the question “why”? We ask it now and seek our answer in a grain of wheat. These words of Jesus were spoke just prior to the words of our text “Truly, truly I say unto you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and lies it remains alone, but if it dies it bears much fruit.(John 12:24) Every seed upon God’s good earth increases hundred fold (3:16). Now let us think why was Jesus born to die? Was to make new life possible.” He died for all that those who love no longer for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. (II Cor.5:15).

We said at the beginning that we are all dying at the same rate, namely one moment at a time. If this is true, then what ever you are living for, be sure then that what dying for, because that is precisely what you are doing. Ask of each thing that demands and uses up your time. It is worth dying for “Is this worth of using up part of life”?

Only one life, it will soon past, only what is done for Christ will last live and dies with Jesus mind. He was born to die with you in mind.
